National Lampoon's Animal House is a 1978 American comedy movie directed by John Landis and written by Ivan Reitman. It stars John Belushi, Peter Riegert, Tim Matheson, John Vernon, Kevin Bacon, Donald Sutherland, Bruce McGill, Tom Hulce, Karen Allen, Stephen Furst and it was distributed by Universal Pictures. It was spun off into the short lived TV series Delta House in 1979.
